While it sometimes seems like positivity and good news are in short supply, kindness and compassion were on full display at Orange Park Mall’s KidX Club “Kindness Rocks” event on Aug. 20.
During the event, nearly 40 children painted rocks with positive messages and bright, cheerful colors. Then, the children took the rocks home with them to hide in their neighborhoods – and some even left their creations at the mall – in hopes that whoever discovers them will have a brighter day.
Kindness Rocks also featured games, rock candy, and a book reading by Curtis Robert Brown, Jr., the owner of Orange Park Mall tenant, Laugh World Kids Boutique, and author of “I Lost My Laugh.”
More than a dozen WPG properties host KidX Club activities and events throughout the year, focused on delivering educational and immersive experiences that give kids the chance to try new things, make new friends, and learn new stuff.
