wpg colleagues learning about Power BI and other topics through Growth Gateway and LinkedIn Learning

Through Growth Gateway, a company-wide program, each colleague has the opportunity to design a personalized development plan based on their unique goals. Colleagues have identified hundreds of goals they want to achieve and skills they want to learn. One common skill many have chosen to develop is Power BI.

Danny Luczak, Vice President, Applications, and Alayne Bullock, Financial Systems Analyst, recently provided several hands-on Power BI trainings as part of Growth Gateway. The first training taught colleagues how to create their own dashboards. The response was so positive that Danny and Alayne held several follow-up trainings focused on other elements of Power BI.

“Power BI is a popular product and set of supporting skills. These trainings is an example of our commitment to continue investing in individual growth for our team members,” said Danny.

Participants left the trainings excited to apply what they learned and eager to explore more functions of Power BI.

“Now that I have completed the Power BI training, I am excited to do my job quicker and provide the specialty leasing reps with fast information that better relates to their specific centers,” said Abbey Zaluski, Specialty Leasing Coordinator, Revenue Services. Future trainings are in the works to cover more in-depth aspects of Power BI.

As part of Growth Gateway, other colleagues are spending time volunteering, completing courses to receive their real estate license, viewing LinkedIn Learning training videos, and various other development opportunities. Here’s what some of the participants have to say about the program:

“It is exciting to see my team take advantage of the program and further their professional growth. This type of opportunity provides our team an avenue to be the best version of property management and real estate in the market.” – Chad Becwar, General Manager, Gateway Mall

“Growth Gateway shows investment in oneself beyond wpg or your field of expertise. Knowledge is a powerful commodity, and no one can ever take that away.” – Christina Ashton, Specialty Leasing Manager

“I feel very lucky to work for a company that wants you to take advantage of these opportunities to grow yourself for later down the road.” – Margo Saldaña, Specialty Leasing Manager
