Keauhou Shopping Center in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, was named “Best Shopping Center” in West Hawaii Today’s Best of Hawaii-West 2023. This marks the third year in a row that the shopping center has received this honor.
The Best of Hawaii-West is an annual readers’ choice awards program that highlights the best businesses, people, entertainment and activities on the west side of the Big Island. Readers of West Hawaii Today, the local newspaper, select the winners and finalists in each category based on the excellence and value of the services they provide. According to the publication, thousands of online and paper ballots were cast to determine the Best of Hawaii-West.
“We are grateful for the support we’ve received from the community and honored to win as a reader favorite again,” said Stephen Hicks, General Manager at Keauhou Shopping Center. “Mahalo to our management team, vendors, and tenants, without their quality support we would not have accomplished this for a third year in a row.”
Keauhou Shopping Center is the centerpiece of Keauhou Resort, which is a modern getaway surrounded by rich Hawaiian history. The Center offers an incredible shopping experience and the chance to learn about the heritage of the Kona coast through special entertainment and educational programs.
