Bowie Town Center offers a large trade area that covers the eastern half of Prince George’s County and the western half of Anne Arundel County. In terms of general area, one of the leading employers is Andrews Air Force Base, employing 15,000 people. Only six miles north of the town center, Bowie State University accommodates nearly 6,000 students. The mall is also a quick 20-minute drive from the University of Maryland, which offers a student population over 40,000.
