In honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, wpg’s corporate offices in Columbus and Indianapolis, as well as nearly 50 wpg properties across the country, partnered with local shelters to help donate needed items that support victims of domestic violence. 

While it sometimes seems like positivity and good news are in short supply, kindness and compassion were on full display at Orange Park Mall’s KidX Club “Kindness Rocks” event on Aug. 20.

Nine members of WPG’s HR Department volunteered at the Columbus Dream Center in August, preparing and serving breakfast to nearly 100 people. The Columbus Dream Center supports underserved individuals and families through meals and resources, educational support and mentorship for students, and consistent community outreach throughout Columbus and Central Ohio. The Columbus Dream Center serves three meals per day to individuals experiencing homelessness, along with providing laundry and shower facilities.

Throughout the month of July, Pearlridge Center partnered with Ground Transport Inc., Amy’s Hallmark, and T&C Surf to hold a school supply drive for students in need. Continuing the annual tradition, the mall asked community members to drop off donations, such as pencils, pens, notebooks, backpacks, and footwear.
